The Langley Schools outreach programme aims to engage as many children as possible in tennis by:
- Promoting participation in the game
- Lifting levels of fitness, co-ordination and agility
- Improving confidence
- Raising standards of play
We aim to develop flexible partnerships with schools through promotional services such as:
- FREE taster sessions for classes selected by the PE department
- FREE coaching clinics at annual fairs, with all proceeds going back to schools
- FREE tennis equipment bags, available through the LTA schools programme
We provide additional services on a termly or half-termly basis – and through the holidays:

“Langley Tennis is a wonderful club with excellent coaches. The club has been working in partnership with the Berkhamsted School holiday programme BASECAMP for a number of years and we cannot speak highly enough of their professionalism, care and quality of development of tennis skills.” – Clare Kaye, Commercial & Operations Manager Berkhamsted Schools Group.
“Langley Tennis provides our pupils with excellent coaching for both the elite and development players. Each session is varied, fun and engaging and there has been a noticeable improvement in the level of play amongst our students. We are very grateful to the club for its help in improving tennis provision at the school” – Michelle Fox-Sayer, Joint Head of the Physical Education Department and Alumni Liaison Officer.
